Graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1974, Robert Vaughn attended the Nashville School of Law, and became licensed in October of 1979. He is admitted to practice in Federal Courts in the Middle District of Tennessee, Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the Eastern District of Michigan.  He is admitted before various U.S. Courts of Appeals (4th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th).  Mr. Vaughn is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court as well.  He has represented clients in 35 different states and federal courts.

Robert Vaughn has had numerous articles published by the Drug Law Review, High Times Magazine, and Headquest Magazine, and is quoted frequently in local and national publications. He has also, continually, for the past 25 years, published “The Letter of the Law”, which is a monthly update involving drug paraphernalia cases. Robert Vaughn has taught numerous law related courses for the past 25 years at institutions such as Belmont University. He has been invited to speak on the issue of drug paraphernalia many times before the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
